Stunning views of Hoffman bayou in Gulf Breeze
For a busy working family, this home hit a lot of wickets – lots of sprawling space, comfortable setup upstairs for the kids to grow into, and a relatively open floor plan that joined this beautiful sitting room overlooking Hoffman Bayou with their kitchen and dining areas. With any waterfront home, we are always aiming to accentuate the view, and in this case the clients also wanted to use their budget strategically to address a lot of different rooms – so we had to find a way to bring the outdoors in and balance the investment they were making to really help this home feel like the grown up space they all deserved!
Completing the common areas was our first priority – a lovely office for Mom, a refresh in the dining room with fun new chairs and gorgeous window treatments — and all new sitting room setup that was soft, and visually serene while also offering a lot of comfort and function. Bedrooms were next with a total overhaul of the primary suite and some fun attention to the kids bedrooms so they would feel right at home.
Revisiting colors and accentuating some spaces with wallpaper, this interior design project capitalized on finding ways to create a unique and fresh flow that was appropriate for a coastal home without feeling overly beach-y or cookie-cutter! Lighting was also on the to do list for this client and these selections helped create more visual interest as you moved from space to space.
Lastly, for when grandma came to visit, the guest bedroom was the final piece of the puzzle to complete this furnishings project for the family. Just in time for them they relocate to another city (and we flew down and helped them with that project too!)
