I’m a bit newer in the design industry, especially in the eyes of vendors. In the case with a fair amount of those vendors, the minimum for opening orders can be significant, especially for the volume we do. Up to this point I’ve had to be very careful and selective with the accounts I’ve opened because we’ve been unable to meet those minimums. Cheryl and Libby opened their arms to our team upon opening a Designer Partnership account with them. We’ve now placed a few orders, with more in the near future, and I have to say, they have been truly amazing. Far better than even some vendors we work with! Recently Patti Johnson Interiors joined the trade only buying group offered by In Detail Interiors. I was able to procure two sofas through their service with an account I did not have access to. During the process, Libby communicated directly with me on my order. She requested and provided upholstery fabric swatches to be sent to me quickly for client approval. She assisted me through the process, provided acknowledgement and updates on shipping etc. Libby was responsive and knowledgeable and it was an enjoyable process.
